L & S Transmissions & Automotive, located in Huntington, IN, has been the go-to auto repair shop for Huntington, Adams, and Wells counties since 1984. Talk about service, this is a great place to do business. My transmission had the typical GM shutter, and weak shifting. These guys did my transmission service, and programmed my Yukon TCM, and ECM to alleviate my problems. Much cheaper than I was expecting. Great service, great pricing and great customer service. After another shop has not "fixed" my transmission. I took my vehicle here. They got me right in, took 3 weeks but they fixed my transmission with a part or two to prevent a whole rebuild. Great price and nice staff. I appreciated them for their honesty and upfront on price.

I have an appointment next week for oil change etc.
I love dealing with these guys. Years ago I was recently widowed at age 59. I had car troubles and went to someone and first was told I needed a transmission…then it was changed to I needed a new car.
Went to L&S and Rich looked at it a;d tld me I didn’t need a new transmission OR a new car..I. Just need3d my transmission fixed. That was 25 years ago and I still go there for all car needs.

Having an older vehicle, 2008 and several 100k miles on the it. I wondered if it would be worth while to put the
money into a rebuilt transmission. L&S went the extra mile and inspected ithe vehicle per my request. They found two minor problems, advised they would fix as well if I so choose. They advised the car would be worth rebuilding the vehicles transmission. They built me into their scheduled, repaired it on time with no surprise additional costs. A great experience.
